What is Extra Care?

If you are over 55 and thinking of moving home due to change in your life, Extra Care Housing offers you a new way to live independently on your terms. You will have a choice of spacious one or two bedroom apartments
Care and support are also available on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are based on your own individual needs and provided by on-site staff.
Extra Care supports people to remain independent by providing help only as needed.

Successful Windmill Place Open Day held on Saturday 10th. December 2011
Around 50 people visited and toured the building and the apartments on offer. Everyone commented on the extremely high standard of the facilities and furnishing, together with the comfortable feel this has given all of the areas.
Soha and South Oxfordshire’s first Extra Care Scheme – building completed November 2011
Windmill Place Extra Care was handed over by the builder, David Wilson Homes, to Soha during November. Staff training and final building and equipment commissioning tests will now take place ahead of the scheme opening in the early part of the New Year.
